The 2019 Africa Cup of Nations, known as the Total 2019 Africa Cup of Nations, which is the 32nd edition of the Africa Cup of Nations, the biennial international men’s football championship of Africa organized by the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
This year’s edition will be hosted by Egypt from 21st of June to the 19th of July to be hosted in 4 Cities:

– June 30 Stadium (30,000)
– Al Salam Stadium (30,000)
-Alexandria Stadium (19,676)
-Suez Stadium (27,000)
-Ismaila Stadium (18.525)
This year’s Competition will for the first time play host 24 teams.
Egypt (Host and 7 time Champion), Madagascar (debutants), Tunisia (2004 winners), Morocco (1976 winners), Senegal (2002 runners up), Uganda (1978 runners up), Guinea (1976 runners up), Mali (1972 runners up), Algeria (1990 winners), Kenya, Ghana(4 time winners), Angola, Ivory Coast(2 time winners), Cameroon(5 time winners), Burundi(debutants), Namibia, Guinea-Bissau, Namibia, Zimbabwe, DR Congo(2 time winners), Tanzania, Benin Republic, South Africa (1996 winners) and Nigeria(3 time Champions).
There is also an increase in this year’s prize money to be shared by participating teams:
– First – US$4.5 million
– Runners up -US$2.5 million
– Semi –finalists – US$2.0 million
– Quarter-finalists -US$800,000
At this year’s competition, Video Assistant Referees (VAR) will be used the Egyptian Football Association has announced, starting from the Quarter finals.
