On this week on Sales Star of the Week. The Beebeejump Online Team (BBJ OT) caught with Peter Emeka from our Port Harcourt Branch, these are the things he had to say:
BBJ OT: Please tell us your name, the brand you represent and your Office address.
Peter: My name is Peter Emeka. I represent Beebeejump Nigeria
Port Harcourt Branch.
BBJ OT: Nice meeting you Peter, and congratulations on being the best Sales man for last week in Port Harcourt.
Peter: Thank you sir
BBJ OT: So tell us, what did you do to win this Prize?
Peter: Ok! Well, I go about my normal canvassing, meeting potential customers and telling them about and how it is many times better than other brands before us. Then I also took advantage of the referrer gifts that is ongoing.
BBJ OT: Oooo great.
Peter: The referral gift motivated my customers more.
BBJ OT: How do you know a potential Customer? We all know that not everyone you talk to will buy.
Peter: My potential customers are those that bring up the issue of other brands, and they most of the time mention the name of a particular brand first which I won’t like to mention their name,…once I get those people….many times they end up buying
BBJ OT: Wow. What do you think about follow up in Sales?
Peter: It works, especially when they understand that they have something to benefit which other brands are not offering. Follow up is a fundamental key in sales.
BBJ OT: What Sales secret will you like to pass on to other Sales team Members to make good sales too? Share 1 or 2.
Peter: I am especially interested in anyone who tells me that solar doesn’t work or that we are like other brands, names withheld…It shows that they are interested only that they have been disappointed from previous experiences.
Such comment or statement is a pointer that they are interested. So my fellow sales Executive should watch out for such indicators.
And of course I thank God for helping me….. because all my efforts will amount to nothing without His assistance.
